Summary of Core Competencies
– Over 20 years of experience of successfully working with clients to identify specific outcomes required to improve performance in: Leading people, working in teams, managing, selling and negotiating, conflict resolution, service delivery, business communication, emotional intelligence and self management. Then, designing structured training programs that are sympathetic to the organisations’ culture, and the situations faced by participants on the job. Since instructional design skills are transferable to a range of disciplines we have also consulted on the development of ‘technical’ training program design to a number of clients. We incorporate experiential skills development and the full range of interactive learning methodologies in our program designs.
– Research and development of program materials for the full range of training services provided. This includes participant reference material on the program topics, exercises and activities to accelerate learning and skills transfer. We have compiled an extensive database for each of the topic areas. These are continuously added to, and upgraded. We have also written complete training programs for use on a national basis: These included all participant materials and manuals for trainers and skilling them in the use of these resources to deliver the programs in-house.
- Our capability as facilitators is evidenced by the demand for our services to conduct programs both in Asia and Australia. This is primarily due to our ability to quickly identify audience needs, empathise, and adapt delivery style to suit them. High levels of energy and a well-developed sense of humour combine with extensive topic knowledge to ensure participants not only learn, but also are committed to applying the learning on the job.
- We have also incorporated large group facilitation technology in our repertoire to ensure when we work with large groups, particularly at conferences. We get them totally involved and thus leverage the group’s knowledge and expertise.
– Managing on-site relationships with clients in all functional areas, and at all levels to bring about positive change to systems and processes that enable their businesses to profitably develop.
– Our principals are highly successful at working one-on-one with senior managers to improve their leadership performance, and ability to work adaptively in changing environments.
